1) Sendo Home Air Conditioning Warranty Terms

Intercool Hellas S.A. exclusive distributor of SENDO air conditioners for the Greek territory, covers with a guarantee of good operation ten (10) years for all parts of the device with the terms and conditions listed below:

Terms and conditions:

1. In order to invoke the validity of the guarantee, it shall be necessary to show the relevant purchase invoice or retail ticket.
In addition, the manufacturer’s specifications regarding the transport, storage, installation, adjustment and use of the units should be complied with.
2. The warranty shall cover any abnormality or damage caused solely by the manufacture of the appliance or by a defective component. In no case does it mean replacing the appliance but simply replacing or repairing the defective part.
3. During the warranty period the cost of repairing the damage or repairing the defective part is covered by the company. Under no circumstances is there any provision for replacement of the device or refund.
4. The company reserves the right to determine the manner and place of repair of the faults at its discretion.
5. The basic condition for the validity of the guarantee is the annual maintenance of the device, at the expense of the buyer.
6. Any intervention in the air conditioner by unlicensed or uncertified technical personnel shall be prohibited.
7. Both the installation of the plant and the annual maintenance should be carried out either by certified workshops of the company or the dealer who carried out the sale and installation of the machine, with licensed and certified refrigeration installers.
8. Annual maintenance shall be attested by proof of service provided by the workshops which carried it out. If even one year of annual maintenance has not been carried out, the guarantee shall automatically cease to apply.
9. The warranty does not cover loss of parts.
10. Damage caused during transport shall not be covered if there is a signed receipt of equipment.

The guarantee shall not apply in the following cases:

(a) Damage resulting from the intervention of an uncertified workshop.
b) Incorrect installation, mishandling and/or damage to the appliance.
(c) Failure to comply with the manufacturer’s specifications relating to the transport, storage, installation, adjustment and use of the units.
d) External factors for which the manufacturing plant is not responsible (e.g. large fluctuations in electrical supply, device operating limits outside the specifications, connection to a voltage other than that indicated on the unit plate and/or to an uns grounded power supply (plug) etc.).
(e) Poor and/or poor maintenance.

 

 

2) Terms of Warranty of Semi-Central Air Conditioning Units of divided type SENDO
(wardrobe type, cassette, channel, floor-to-ceiling)

Intercool Hellas S.A., the exclusive distributor of SENDO air conditioners for the Greek territory, covers with a guarantee of good operation five (5) years the compressor of the unit and three (3) years the other parts, semi-central air conditioners of divided type, with the terms and conditions mentioned below:

Terms and conditions:

1. In order to invoke the validity of the guarantee, it shall be necessary to show the relevant purchase invoice or retail ticket. In addition, the manufacturer’s specifications regarding the transport, storage, installation, adjustment and use of the units should be complied with.
2. The warranty shall cover any abnormality or damage caused solely by the manufacture of the appliance or by a defective component. In no case does it mean replacing the appliance but simply replacing or repairing the defective part.
3. The warranty does not cover the service of the repair shop but only the replacement of the part with the corresponding spare part. The provision of services for the replacement of the spare part is covered only in the first 2 months from the date of purchase of the unit.
4. The company reserves the right to determine the manner and place of repair of the faults at its discretion.
5. The basic condition for the validity of the guarantee is the annual maintenance of the appliance, at the expense of its buyer.
6. Both the installation of the plant and the annual maintenance should be carried out either by authorised workshops of the company or the dealer who carried out the sale and installation of the machine, with licensed and certified refrigeration installers.
7. Annual maintenance shall be attested by proof of service provided by the workshops which carried it out. If even one year of annual maintenance has not been carried out, the guarantee shall automatically cease to apply.
8. Any interference with the units by unlicensed/certified technical personnel shall be prohibited.

The guarantee shall not apply in the following cases:

(a) Damage resulting from the intervention of an unauthorised and/or uncertified workshop.
b) Incorrect installation, mishandling and/or damage to the appliance.
(c) Failure to comply with the manufacturer’s specifications relating to the transport, storage, installation, adjustment and use of the units.
d) External factors for which the manufacturing plant is not responsible (e.g. large fluctuations in electrical supply, device operating limits outside the specifications, connection to a voltage other than that indicated on the unit plate and/or to an uns grounded power supply (plug) etc.).
(e) Poor and/or poor maintenance.

 

3) Terms of Warranty of SEDO Professional Units (air-water heat pumps)

Intercool Hellas S.A., the exclusive distributor of SENDO air conditioners for the Greek territory, covers with a guarantee of good operation of two (2) years all parts of the professional units, under the terms and conditions listed below:

Terms and conditions:

1. In order to invoke the validity of the guarantee, it shall be necessary to show the relevant purchase invoice or retail ticket. In addition, the manufacturer’s specifications regarding the transport, storage, installation, adjustment and use of the units should be complied with.
2. The warranty shall cover any abnormality or damage caused solely by the manufacture of the appliance or by a defective component. In no case does it mean replacing the appliance but simply replacing or repairing the defective part.
